Naming story


The name Karima Al-Ola is attributed to her great-grandmother - Hajj Karima, may God have mercy on her, who always devoted her life to doing good deeds until her death. Then the good work was passed on to her daughter after her and then to her grandchildren, so that the impact on charitable work remains as a reward in accordance with what she was the cause of.
Hajj Karima (may God have mercy on her) died when she was eighty years old on April 28, 2021, as a result of infection with the Corona virus while she was distributing food cartons for elderly women in the holy month of Ramadan, and this was her last charitable work in the world.

Establishment


The Karima Al-Ola Charitable Foundation was established on July 13, 2021. The foundation has been active for more than 30 years at the hands of Grandma Karima - may God have mercy on her - from the 1980s. Then it was passed on to her daughter in 2007, and charitable work has been accumulated and has been working for 6 years. The foundation works with the latest institutional work methodologies. Development and craftsmanship for the sake of human development in various fields through a group of charitable activities

Karima Al-Ola Foundation is a non-profit, civil society organization with defamation number 7070 under the Ministry of Social Solidarity.

30 years of love and goodness


Activities and successes achieved by the Foundation in 30 years of love and charitable work. We work with the latest methodologies of institutional development work and craftsmanship for the sake of human development. We aim to serve the most needy groups, such as (fined women and elderly women, restoring Qur’an homes, distributing monthly allowances to elderly women and widows, educating university students and sponsoring them, introducing water into homes, etc. without any religious or political discrimination). The Foundation relies for its funding on in-kind and cash donations from Egyptians inside and outside Egypt.
